RVA Students started with a simple question: what would it look like if high school students from across Richmond came together around Jesus?
There are amazing youth groups, churches, and students all over our city, but we wanted to create a space where students from different schools, backgrounds, and churches could gather as one.
This is not about one church, one person, or one program. It is about creating a place where students can encounter Jesus, build real friendships, ask honest questions, and grow in their faith.
We are just getting started, and we believe God has something special for students in Richmond.

Hi, I'm Alex! :)
I started RVA Students because I have a heart for connecting students all across Richmond. I've had this idea for a while, but it really came to life when I was at the SEU Worship concert here in Richmond. I remember looking around and realizing there were so many teenagers who loved Jesus, but most of us had no idea who each other were.
From that night on, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I felt like God kept putting this on my heart and showing me that Richmond needed something that brought students together. Not another church or another youth group, but a place where students from all over the city could worship Jesus together, build real friendships, and encourage each other in our faith.
My hope is that RVA Students becomes a place where everyone feels welcome. Whether you've been following Jesus your whole life or you're just curious about who He is, I'd love for you to come. I truly believe God is going to do something incredible through the students of Richmond, and I'm excited to see what He has in store.
